The Cyber Cafe
The Moorlands centre offers free internet access to all who use the centre every day. Other facilities such as printing, scanning and faxing are also available at a small charge.
The Moorlands has a well equipped IT suite with 8 PC’s and 3 Laptop computers. Never be stuck for internet access again. Friendly staff always on hand to help those who are less familiar with technology. Printing, Photo copying and faxes also available at a small charge. The Cyber Café is currently running on Tuesday evenings, between 5pm and 7pm, except during the school holidays. Cyber Café has a regular attendance of 25 children each week. If your child is interested in attending Cyber Café please call and speak to Julie after 5pm on a Tuesday evening (term time only).
The Moorlands offers a basic computer users course every Thursday morning between 10.00am and 11.30am and is primarily aimed at the older generations to which computers are “new-fangled”, although any one is welcome. The photos on this page were taken during one such course.
